After everyone gets a chance to enjoy the Race After-Party, head on over to Palmetto at 1pm! (That gives everyone time to shower and clean up if desired.) Palmetto is hosting our Official Post-Race Party so bring your race bib to the brewery, let them know you're with Charleston Beer Runners, and...(join our FB event for the rest of that sentence)!

, happening October 28, 2017! This is a fun 10K or 5K run/walk race with an amazing after-party at Triangle! This race benefits the Gavalas Kolanko Foundation (GKF)
, a 509 (a)(2) public charity established to help students with disabilities reach their secondary educational goals. Proceeds from the Charleston James Island Connector Run benefit the Gavalas Kolanko Foundation (GKF), a local charity that awards annual scholarships to students with physical disabilities. By awarding scholarship assistance to students each year, the GKF helps make “Education Within Reach" for South Carolina undergraduates pursuing a college education despite physical limitations. Since 1999, the Foundation has raised more than $800,000 and awarded 134 scholarships to Lowcountry students attending College of Charleston, Charleston Southern University, The Citadel, Trident Technical College, the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), and the Art Institute of Charleston.
This is one of CBR's favorite Charleston races and all participants receive a medal! We also have a special CBR discount code that gets you $5 off your registration. You must register with team CBR and please message us (via FB or e-mail) to receive the code.

6:00 am – Race day packet pickup
8:30 am – Race begins
9:00am – 11:30am – The After Race Party happens in Cannon Park

*We encourage you to attend this pre-race Packet Pick-Up event. This will allow you to show up ready to run on Saturday.

Dogs and strollers are welcome. All dogs must be well-behaved, on a leash and attached to their owners at all times. You must finish the course by 10:15am. The race is rain or shine!

The top 5 male and female finishers for the 10K and 5K run will receive cash awards.
