Hey...Run Into Shape Charleston Beer Runners! That's right! Your two favorite superstar shape running beer drinking with a running problem clubs are teaming up for an incredible run! This month we're combining our forces for good. In true CBR fashion, we're running to a bar and drinking beer! And in true Run Into Shape spirit, we've got a perfectly themed, incredible shape that'll have you showing off your GPS trails to all your friends. So meet at the Hampton Park gazebo at 6:30pm, on Tuesday, and get ready for an exciting adventure!
CBR Anika Jansen, and her classmate Jerry Roettger are getting ready to go on a humanitarian mission, and they need funds to make this trip happen. The program they are participating in is part of MUSC's Global Health initiative in collaboration with a local non-profit called OneWorld Health. OneWorld Health's mission is to provide quality, affordable healthcare to people in need in a sustainable way. In May, Anika will travel to Nicaragua, Jerry will travel to Uganda, and they will work with the locals towards accomplishing this mission.
Thanks to the kind support of Revelry Brewing Co., a portion of every beer purchased at this event will go towards their fundraising goal! Funds raised will go towards travel and supplies, so let's get drinking for a great cause, it's time for another #CBRkickthekegFundraiser!
If you're not able to make this run, or if you'd simply like to continue to support their mission, please consider making a donation through the following links:

Our Route: (please run with a buddy, Romney can get challenging at night, and it's more fun to run with friends!)
From the gazebo, we'll head straight towards the Hampton Park lake, take a right, run around the lake and back towards the gazebo. Run past the gazebo, take a left and run around the park. Right on President St., immediate left on Moultrie, left on Rutledge, right on Cleveland, right on King, left on Huger, left on Hanover...turn around at the dead end and head back down Hanover, right on Huger, right on King. Right on Romney, right on Hanover and the brewery will be on your right (stop your watch just prior to reaching the bar)! (~3.8 mi)
Can you guess what the shape is?

It's still dark out there, so please wear something bright and reflective! Flashing lights are a great and easy way to be seen by traffic.
